As a creative, I feel quite at home using Canva, Adobe Lightroom and learning to navigate new design platforms.

Building Bridges Newsletter Promotion
During an internship at Tehama Group Communications in the spring of 2021, I spearheaded the creation of a social media campaign to promote newsletter publications for our client, CSU Chico Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
Bull & Toad’s Excellent Adventure
For a "do anything" creative project during my last semester of grad school in a Rhetorical Theory seminar, I created a short comic book spoof on Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure to educate readers about the African origins of rhetoric.

This social content creation side-project is a bit more of a personal one. As a self-proclaimed poet, I wanted a way to share my writing. I researched font pairings, created a format that felt reflective of me and have gained a small following of poetry readers on Instagram.
Communication Teaching Associate Slides
While working as a Communications Teaching Associate, part of my job duties were designing weekly slides for course lectures to keep students informed and engaged.
I created separate slides for each class day of the semester, but here's an example of what a couple days in class might look like.
SNA RCONA Wheels Parade Flyer
This flyer was created as spec work to promote the Stoneridge Neighborhood Association's 4th of July Wheels Parade through a web newsletter, print and social media. SNA is part of the Roseville Coalition of Neighborhood Associations in the Greater Sacramento area of Northern California.
